Terms and conditions

The terms for using this website, and for the free samples of events we send to FCA-authorised firms.

Last updated: 29 October 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use exitsignals.co.uk (the “site”) or receive a sample of events from us. By using the site or asking for a sample, you accept them. If you don’t accept them, please don’t use the site.

If you subscribe to ExitSignals, the terms of your subscription will apply to it as well. Our privacy policy explains how we use personal data.

2. Who we are

ExitSignals is a trading name of Team Dimensions Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 08348964) with its registered office at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. “We”, “us” and “our” mean Team Dimensions Ltd. You can email us at hello@exitsignals.co.uk.

3. Who ExitSignals is for

ExitSignals is only for firms authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority, such as wealth managers, private banks and independent financial advisers. If you ask for a sample, you confirm that you’re doing so for such a firm, and that you’re allowed to act for it. “You” means you and the firm you act for. We check firms on the FCA register, and we may decline any request.

4. Examples on this site

The events shown on this site, and the companies, professional firms, people, figures and area counts in them, are examples, not real cases. Figures that describe our data, such as how many company sales we found, are measured on the dates given and may change.

5. Samples

Samples are free, and asking for one doesn’t commit you to anything. We decide how many events a sample includes, which areas we can offer and whether we can send one.

If we send you a sample, you may use it only to decide whether to subscribe to ExitSignals, within your firm. You must keep it confidential, not share, publish or sell it, and delete it if we ask you to.

6. The people in events

Events describe what public company filings show. They name real people, who have rights over how information about them is used. If you use an event in any way, including to approach someone, you must:

  • follow the law and your regulator’s rules, including UK data protection law, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, and the Financial Conduct Authority’s rules, including its rules on financial promotions;
  • check your approach with your compliance team before you make it;
  • approach people only in a way that is fair to them: through the professional advisers named in the filings, or by a letter that says who you are, where the information came from and how to opt out. Never present an event as a prediction about anyone, or as a statement of their wealth;
  • not try to find anyone’s home address, personal phone number or personal email address from an event, or combine events with other data to estimate anyone’s personal wealth;
  • honour at once any objection made to you, and tell us about it, so that we can remove the person the same day; and
  • tell us straight away if you think an event is wrong.

Events are built from public filings and our own analysis. Some are confirmed by a filing; others are inferred from several filings and can be wrong, and each event says which. Bands are estimates, not the price paid or anyone’s actual proceeds. Check anything important before you rely on it.

7. Using this site

You must not:

  • copy or collect content from the site in bulk, including with bots, scrapers or crawlers, except as a search engine indexing pages for its results;
  • try to gain unauthorised access to the site or the systems behind it, or interfere with how it works; or
  • use the site in any way that breaks the law.

We may change, suspend or withdraw the site, or any part of it, at any time.

8. Our rights in ExitSignals

We, or the people we license them from, own the rights in the site, in ExitSignals’ events and in the database behind them, including copyright and database right, and in the ExitSignals name and logo. Other names and logos on the site belong to their owners.

The site and our events include public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Information from public sources stays subject to its own licence terms.

9. Information, not advice

The site and samples are for general information. They aren’t legal, financial, investment, tax or other professional advice, and nothing on the site is a recommendation to contact anyone. We don’t promise that the site or the events are accurate, complete or up to date, or that the site will always be available.

10. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit.

Subject to that, and because the site and samples are free and meant for business use:

  • we aren’t liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or a sample, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise;
  • in particular, we aren’t liable for any loss of profits, sales, business, revenue, opportunity, goodwill or reputation, or for any indirect or consequential loss; and
  • if we are found liable despite this, our total liability to you is limited to £100.

11. Your responsibility

You’re responsible for how you use the site and any sample. If your breach of these terms or of the law, or your misuse of an event, leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover our resulting losses and reasonable legal costs.

The site links to other websites, such as Companies House and the FCA register. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for them.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We’ll post the new version here and change the date at the top. The terms that apply are the ones in force when you use the site or receive a sample.

14. General

If a court decides that part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later. These terms are the whole agreement between you and us about the site and samples.

15. Law and courts

These terms, and any dispute about them, the site or samples, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
